Oliver Sturges House

Savannah

What you'll hear here: about a minute of narration about Oliver Sturges House, written to be listened to on the spot rather than read at home.

Dating from 1813, the Oliver Sturges House occupies the southwestern trust block of Reynolds Square. Originally owned by Oliver Sturges, it's also known as the Hiram Roberts House — Roberts lived here from 1806 to 1880. The house began as two stories; a third was added in 1835.

It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
