Look for the Casimir Pulaski Monument, rising here in Monterey Square. It honors Casimir Pulaski, who fell not far from here during the siege of Savannah. It's one of only two monuments in the city that still keep a railing around them — the other is the Civil War Memorial in Forsyth Park.
