Thirty-one stops walk Rochester along the Genesee River between the Public Market and the Strasenburgh Planetarium. The Rochester Public Market opens the route; Corn Hill (Rochester's premier residential address since 1830) and the Old Stone Warehouse (1822) carry the city's early fabric. Brown's Race Historic District hugs the High Falls gorge; the Pont de Rennes bridge crosses the river. Kodak Tower (19 stories above the High Falls District) anchors the Eastman legacy. The Broad Street, Main Street, and Court Street Bridges carry you across the Genesee. Downtown's Times Square Building, the Powers Building, Wilder Building (Rochester's first modern skyscraper, 1887), and Sibley's, Lindsay and Curr Building rise around Four Corners. The Rochester Savings Bank, Rundel Memorial Library, and Washington Square Park's Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument follow. The Susan B. Anthony House at 17 Madison Street, Geva Theatre, the Little Theatre, the Eastman Theatre and Eastman School of Music, the Memorial Art Gallery, the National Museum of Play, and ESL Ballpark close the walk.
