Myriad Botanical Gardens spreads 15 acres of greenery across downtown Oklahoma City, with sculpture tucked into the landscape. The Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory sits here; its exterior grounds are free to roam. Stroll and you'll encounter art woven into the landscape.
To your northwest, on a raised berm, stands Gateway by Hans Van de Bovenkamp. In the southwest quadrant is Robin Orbach’s Childhood is Everlasting (1992). On the northwest side of the lake the Philodendron Dome rises — a dome-shaped iron-and-bronze framework on an 8' × 9' base.
Iron vines support the dome of bronze leaves, and you can walk inside for a view from underneath. In the east lake a kinetic sculpture, Flying Fish by Kenny McCage, dances with the water. On the west side Land of the Brave and the Free — a bright, archetypal, kinetic wind sculpture — was donated in 2002 to the Festival of the Arts by California artist Susan Pascal Beran.
Nearby, the Spirit Poles stand adjacent to the north fountain plaza as gifts to the City of Oklahoma. Notice the kinetic Flying Fish dancing on the east lake while iron vines cradle bronze leaves above the Philodendron Dome.
